Local 38 Announces Virtual School Trustee Candidate Election Forums

All forums are open to members of the public

Hosted by Calgary Public Teachers, ATA Local 38, this series of online forums aim to give community members the opportunity to hear directly from trustee candidates ahead of the October 2025 school board election.

Each 90-minute Zoom webinar features candidates from specific wards, with a moderator guiding structured questions on key public education issues — including school funding, class sizes, student supports, and the future of public education in Calgary. The forums are designed to provide voters with a clear understanding of where candidates stand on the challenges facing Calgary’s public schools.
